My name is Cole Marvin and I live in Mesa, Arizona with my wife Nicole and three children: Mckenzie (9), Kennedy (8), and Kobe (5). About 2 years ago I purchased the book, Charcuterie, by Michael Ruhlman and Brian Polcyn and thus the obsession with the art and science of Charcuterie began. I have recreated about 10 of the recipes in the book and mastered only a handful. After watching the movie Julie Julia, I was inspired to recreate every recipe and blog the entire experience with videos and pictures. Together, we will work our way through the fascinating recipes ranging from sausages to smoking to salting, pates and terrines all the while celebrating the four legged apple of the earth, the pig!
